This entry is designed to help users access network drives and pin them to their "quick access" menu and find them easier.


Step 1: Open File Explorer

This is pinned to the task bar on most work stations. Figure A shows where to find it and what the program looks like. If not, press the windows key or the start button and type "file explorer" and press enter.


Step 2: Access the Network Drive

Click the address bar, as shown in Figure B, and type "\\adminfile" into the address bar and press enter.


Step 3: Pinning the Drive

Scroll along the left pane of file explorer and look for the computer icon labeled "ADMINFILE." It should be highlighted. Right click the entry and select Pin to Quick Access, as show in Figure C.


Step 4: Finding the Drive

Figure D shows where the drive will be pinned to.
